The Impact Goal

Indian ed-tech company, Transform Future Consulting, joined Business Call to Action in December 2020 with a commitment to provide tech-based support for skills development and career guidance to 1 million students in India by 2024.

The Market Gap

Currently, students in schools and colleges in India do not have access to structured guidance with regard to their careers. The guidance is available in 5% of schools and even in those select schools, it is being provided by academicians or by admission consultants who are not qualified to dispense adequate information to students in a timely manner. As a result, educated students are either unemployed, under-employed, or unemployable as their educational choices are not aligned with industry requirements.

The Business Solution

As an ed-tech youth social networking platform, Transform provides career guidance and connects youth learning choices to work and operates as end-to-end career education and guidance platform. Transform's web-based solution guides young students through a standardized process-driven approach for their career exploration and development. It also links schools with businesses that help students engage in career-related learning, gain real-world experience, and develop the skills that modern employers are looking for.

As of 2021, Transform has partnered with three state governments in India - the State Governments of Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir. Through these strategic partnerships, Transform's product and solution are reaching low-income students in government schools where they receive support and engagement for career development and to build skills at an early age.
