LINA FERNÁNDEZ

Head of Private Sector, UNDP´s Colombia Country Office

Lina Fernández is the Head of Private Sector for UNDP´s Colombia Country Office. She worked with Business Call to Action in Colombia and as a Social Innovation specialist in the Poverty and Inequality Reduction of UNDP Colombia. Prior to joining UNDP, she worked in the National Government as Public-Private Partnerships adviser and Social Innovation Adviser.

She has more than 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of inclusive policies and programs for social and economic development, formulation and management of multi stakeholder projects, social innovation, development of public-private alliances and entrepreneurial tools and programs for low income groups.

Lina holds a Master's degree in International Action from the Catholic Institute of Paris (Paris, France), complementary leadership studies at Georgetown University (Washington, USA) and a Bachelors in Government and International Relations from the Externado de Colombia University.
