Ralph Heinrich is the Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)’s Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships. In this capacity, he advises governments in the UNECE region on innovation policy issues, including innovation-enhancing procurement and high-growth enterprises. He also represents UNECE on the UN Inter-Agency Task Team on Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development.

Ralph has 30 years of experience in economic research and policy advice in the UN and academic sectors. He holds a PhD in economics from Kiel University and has published extensively on a broad range of economic policy issues.
