Oslo, Norway, 15 May - Dr Agbor Ashumanyi Ako, one of the co-founders of Business Call to Action member GiftedMom, a digital health platform based in Cameroon that gives pregnant women and mothers across Africa access to vital health information and care, has been awarded the Oslo Business for Peace Award 2019.
Dr Agbor is one of three award recipients who are delivering opportunities for women, minorities and diverse and disadvantaged groups. Other awardees are Alice Laugher, the CEO of CTG (Committed to Good) and Hamdi Ulukaya, the founder and CEO of Chobani. The Oslo Business for Peace Award is given to inspiring business leaders around the globe who have accomplished extraordinary things. The award honours ambassadors of businessworthy values, who are shaping society for the better.
