Dr. Paul Collier is Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for the Study of African Economies at Oxford University. He is the author of one of the most influential series of books examining the challenges faced by low-income communities and fragile and conflict-prone states. Named by Foreign Policy magazine as one of 2010′s top global thinkers, Dr. Collier sits with Business Call to Action (BCtA) correspondent Shivvy Jervis in this second Champion’s Circle Series interview to discuss the role of the private sector in contributing to the economic development of the world’s poorest countries.
